The mile-high city is a perfect spot to say “I do” any time of year. Denver wedding photographers love this location. Whether you and your beloved are hip urbanites planning a fabulous bash at a spot like the Denver Art Museum, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Brown Palace or the Fat Tail Gallery or you are hoping for something that incorporates some of the areas fabulous mountain vistas, you will have much to choose from in this spectacular area. And while choosing your wedding and reception venues are key parts of making your special day a success, don’t forget to budget some time for photography. Your Denver wedding photographers can help you set up a customized engagement session and can help you design a smooth plan for getting incredible wedding and day-after photos as well. And in this naturally gorgeous area – there are so many spots to choose from! If you and your sweetie are true city folks, consider starting your photo shoot on the steps of the Colorado State Capitol. Enjoy some of the greenery of the grounds and then head over to the 16th Street Mall. Stop at an outdoor café for some fun shots of you and your love sipping a cup of joe, or slip into the Tattered Cover Bookstore for some studious shots. Don’t forget about nearby Golden and Boulder for some wonderful photo shoot opportunities. The CU-Boulder campus is just bursting with beautiful engagement and wedding photography options for lovebirds, and the Boulder Farmer’s Market makes a nice spring and summer backdrop for some fresh and fun pics. Of course, the nearby Pearl Street pedestrian mall is another perfect place for fun photos (and for a bit of ice cream or coffee, to boot). If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, grab your sweetie and your Denver wedding photographers and head to one of the many area trails for some amazing mountain views. Red Rocks (about 20 minutes southwest of downtown) is always gorgeous at sunset, and Rocky Mountain National Park will ensure countless natural vistas. But even Boulder offers plenty of beautiful photo opportunities in the FlatIrons. Consider taking a short hike in Boulder Mountain Park or Chatauqua Park to get shots of the rocks and of the city below. Or, head over to nearby Marshall Mesa or Eldorado State Canyon Park for something super-close but a little more removed. Whatever spots you choose for your wedding and for your photos, just be sure to have plenty of fun and bring extra water to stay hydrated in the fresh mountain air.
