American wedding in Paris – Anda and Immanuel

Anda and Immanuel live in California and are both great lovers of Paris. They wanted to organize their wedding in “the most beautiful city in the world”, in their own words. Immanuel is bow ties and neckties designer in USA. He himself dressed guests of her marriage !

The beautiful small wedding Anda Immanuel was a great trip for everyone ! Both bride and groom who crossed the Atlantic to wed in France, carrying their belongings in their families and friends for a small committee wedding in Paris, both unique and charming.

Getting ready in hotel de la Tour Maubourg, followed by a beautiful ceremony while simplicity, eventful and improvised in the middle of the Jardin du Luxembourg, among Parisian both surprised and charmed by this beautiful ceremony.

The sun had decided that day to be at the party, we took the opportunity to make some photos of the couple together with ease as we walked in the Jardin du Luxembourg. This session is like Anda and Immanuel: spontaneous, natural and distinguished.

The venue continued to Paris, right in the Latin Quarter, in one of the oldest breweries and a landmark of the capital: the Procope. A wedding dinner in small groups for a gourmet meal and a festive atmosphere. Exactly the kind of festivities highly sought after by our friends and married Americans !

I love small committee organized so atypical as it is for Wedding Photographer the opportunity to really take pleasure through his shooting and deliver a report to both creative and unique.

Kerry & Chris | Wedding in Venice

An Alternative Wedding in Venice by Mauro Pozzer Photographer

Kerry and Chris – a beautiful couple from Boston who chose to celebrate their wedding in Venice, one of the most romantic cities of the world. Though the location is very typical for a wedding, the couple was definitely not! Chris, the groom, is keen on Street Photography, and the best way for us to homage his passion was to add a little spice to their wedding photos, playing with unconventional framings, different lenses (as you can see, we used a lot of Fish Eye in this wedding) and stronger filters for the post-production. Chris and Kerry lodged at the beautiful Best Western Hotel Sant’Elena, a few steps away from San Marco Square. Kerry and Chris got ready separately in their hotel suites; Kerry put on her wedding gown along with her friends and her mother, while Chris was enjoying a glass of whiskey with the boys… Without forgetting to photograph the photographers!

Chris’s outfit for the wedding was dark and unconventional – he and his best men looked like some secret agents on a Wedding mission! Kerry reached the wedding location after her husband-to-be, along with her beautiful blue-dressed bridesmaids. The Catholic ceremony took place in the outstanding marble Church of Santa Maria della Salute, and was led by the resident priest. It was touchy, intimate and as beautiful as the couple! After the wedding, it was the time for the couple shooting.  This photo session was particularly interesting, because the situation allowed us to mix between the Street Photography genre and our typical fashionable style.

We left from the Church on a water taxi – enjoying Venice from its canals is absolutely amazing! Then we moved to the Old Fish Market area, where Kerry and Chris could enjoy a Spritz, the typical aperitif in Veneto. After that we moved to San Marco – shooting a kiss in Saint Marco’s square with a Fish Eye was absolutely great! After the photographic service, we got back to the hotel where a wonderful outdoor reception was prepared for the newlyweds. The party went on with music, dances and great Italian food, ending with an unforgettable fire of golden Chinese Lanterns, amazingly mirroring in the black waters of the lagoon. You can see the full wedding there, or on our Vimeo Channel!

Julia & Dave’s York Hosbitium Wedding, UK

Julia and Dave were referred to us by Vicki and Scott whose lovely wedding we covered earlier this year. Both couples chose York for their wedding with Julia and Dave opting for the Hospitium in the Museum Gardens. The Hosbitium is a beautiful building dating back to 1300AD, it is not known exactly what it was used for however we can see why it was transformed into a wedding venue, the location is stunning and it has a great atmosphere to it. Their engagement shoot was in the same location and proved to be incredibly busy in the height of Summer, maybe adding to the nerves of having their photograph taken with hundreds of onlookers! Luckily their wedding day was a lot less crowded, we had the whole of the Museum Gardens to ourselves. Julia looked amazing in her vintage inspired Jenny Packham dress and it was great to see Dave’s nerves appear just before she walked into the ceremony! It was an amazing day full of lovely guests and family, we wish them all the best in the future and hope you all enjoy looking through their day!
