SEPTEMBER 2014. As a destination wedding photographer in Italy, I have been asked to shoot a wedding in Santo Stefano di Sessanio, in the province of L’Aquila, Central Italy.
I’ts not the first time for me in this small town surrounded by the mountains of the Abruzzo National Park. The chosen venue is Sextantio, Albergo Diffuso, a “diffused hotel” whose rooms are houses of a historical, medieval village, only partially reformed. A very seductive set for me, as a lover of the photojournalistic, spontaneous, reportage style.
This time I meet a couple from Texas, USA. I suddenly fall in love with their happiness, simplicity, sweetness of the whole family and their sense of fun. Not every day, indeed, you meet a couple getting married dressing Converse shoes for the ceremony, both the bride and the groom! And this was only the beginning…

Palm Springs California is famous for their mid-century modern design and nowhere is better example than the Parker Meridien Hotel.This is where NYC based fashion designers Ashley and Steven decided to have their stylish wedding. Her dress was Vera Wang, with lace Valentino shoes. Ashley had a black & white color theme, with a beautiful monochromatic peony bouquet, with a matching manicure.

Warkworth river is only a little while from the biggest New Zealand city : Auckland. But here you are : in a beautiful scenery with huge trees, a sailing boat, seagulls and ducks. Chene and J-P all in love, with a lots of complicity had fun while I was photographing their engagement session.
