Canadian Rockie Mountain Wedding

We don’t normally get to enjoy our summer (due to the busy wedding season), thus we are extremely happy to photograph Canadian Rocky Mountain weddings during summer time. It was not long ago since we photographed Katherine & Mark’s engagement photos in Calgary downtown. (Click Here to see their engagement photos)

Highlights of the Day

Every bride’s maid wore like 10-inches super high heel shoes.
Katherine self designed 8 different Totoro fans for the guests to use during ceremony (and use it to block the sun)
The outside photo session was full of laughs! (Just see how photogenic they were and you will know why we couldn’t finish on time) It was very funny when we were stopped by one of Mark’s students from SAIT while photographing on the Engineering bridge. Apparently Mark was one of those amazing teachers that you would dream to have when you were in school.

Since Katherine is a graphic designer herself, she DIY all of the wedding details! Check out her creativity!
Katherine’s Chinese traditional dress was so mix of modern and tradition….we absolutely loved how it fit on her and made her glow!
At the end of the night, Mark and Katherine planned a surprise “firework” show for all the guests! None of our cameras focused in the absolute darkness….luckily, we had a video light that saved us!

Fenella & Joshua’s Wedding at St Luke’s Church in Chelsea

The bride got ready at The Pelham hotel in South Kensington, where she and the bridesmaids were photographed in the drawing room before leaving for St Luke’s Church.

The rain bucked down before the weddin service but stopped and the sun came out as everyone emerged from the church.

The reception was held at Chiswick House, an elegant neo-Palladian villa where the wedding breakfast itself was in a marquee on the lawn. The band was fantastic and everyone stayed dancing until late into the night.

The weather changes throughout the day made for a great variety of photographs.

In a beautiful small town …

It was July 4, an important date. A date even more important to Sarah and Paul who have chosen as the setting for their big day on Lake Como.
They are wonderful and very much in love. That’s the day of their marriage through our eyes …

Happiness in the French country

Once upon a time two French lovers met in New Zealand, moved to Canada and celebrated their Love in Simorre, a little town in South of France near Toulouse. They gathered family and friends from all over the world and partied to the dawn in this beautiful part of the French country. Photographed by Anais Chaine Photography.

This Huntsham Court Wedding has to be one of my favourite weddings from the last year.

A great couple, both of whom being very artistic, a Groom who is an award winning animator and music video producer. A wedding that had so many personal touches from the hand made invites, theme set up and a spectacular soundtrack to their day.

Their friend and musician Ryan Keen serenading the bride down the aisle, then later performing a short evening set for the first dance and some of the most heart warming tributes I have ever witnessed being paid at a wedding. This resulted in a very emotional Bride and Groom and some great captures being delivered from the day. All set in the grounds of an award winning Devon Country house that historically was built for a bride!
