This wedding is a mix of a tropical and boho vibe. Right by the beach, the happy couple said yes in front of many of their friends and family who flew all the way to Fiji to celebrate their union. The Sofitel Denarau (in Nadi, Fiji) was a perfect venue. The children could run around while the adult enjoyed the cocktail on a lovely warm tropical weather.

Mykonos is famous for the windmills, the churches, the narrow alleys, the blue and colorful doors, and windows. Miho and Masa, a couple from Japan had a cruise in the Mediterranean sea celebrating their first wedding anniversary. They decided that the best and most picturesque place at the cruises schedule that they would visit, would be the island of Mykonos. They contacted me as they wanted me to photograph them at the “island of the winds.”
We arranged a photographic “portraits” session at Mykonos Hora (the capital).
The only time they would be available was at 15:00 midday, the most difficult time for portraiture due to the extremely strong and contrasty light (not to mention the heat)!
Despite that, both me and them, we were very satisfied with the photographs!
Here is a small sample….
Graced with the presence of an expansive vivid rainbow over the stunning Umbrian Hills, the weather set the tone for what was a magical day.
As they joined in Matrimony in Comune di Spoleto, the celebrations followed with gelato and prosecco in Piazza del Mercato, to an intimate reception at the exquisite Villa Pianciani, Spoleto.

Mara and William traveled all the way from Washington D.C. to get married in Oia. The preparations of both the bride and the groom took place in a private Cycladic villa above the ruins of the Venetian castle. As I was climbing the path to the villa early in the morning of the wedding day, breathing the sweet fragrant air and drinking in the beauty and the colors of the amazing landscape, I fell in love with the place. And I couldn’t help thinking that Mara and William couldn’t have made a better choice.
The ceremony was held on a terrace with endless views of the Aegean blue. The bride looked divine in her exquisite low-back wedding dress and her elegant Badgley Mischka bridal shoes, and the groom was very handsome in his classic blue suit. They both radiated happiness, and the glorious weather seemed to symbolize the perfect beginning of their new life together.
The newlyweds drove to Le Ciel, a wedding and event venue with spectacular views, for the wedding reception in an old white automobile that added a classy touch to the romantic atmosphere of the wedding. And it is worth noting that they had also arranged to have a wine tasting experience, which I am sure they enjoyed tremendously, as Santorini happens to produce excellent wines that owe their special taste and aroma to the climate and volcanic soil of the island.
I would also like to mention that once again I had the fortune and pleasure to cooperate with the wedding planner Maria and her enthusiastic and talented team of Tie the Knot in Santorini, who deserve the credit for the wonderful decoration both in the villa and in the reception area.
Dear Mara & William, thank you for trusting me and letting me be a part of your special day as your wedding photographer. I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!

These two love birds decided to elope in Fiji at Natadola beach by the Yatule Resort and the Intercontinental (on the Coral Coast). The ceremony was feet in the white sand with a traditional Fijian arch decorated with tropical flowers. Their wedding was magic with a sensational sunset. These images are the ones they took hoe to share with their friends on the next weekend to celebrate their union in Australia but without the ceremony.
